Life Economy

Regenerative Transition – Life in a Changing World: Food, Health & Business
In a time of disruption, this day explores the foundations of a new life-centered economy—where food systems, human health, and business converge to regenerate the planet.

The morning sessions, co-curated with the global network of Climate Shapers, will spotlight young changemakers, innovators, and educators committed to driving impact through systemic education and radical collaboration.

The afternoon will be curated by NATIVA and engage over a dozen top business leaders and CEOs to explore what “value creation” really means in the 21st century.
Through a dynamic and interactive format —blending keynote insights with audience-driven dialogue — the conversation will center on Europe’s unique opportunity to redefining value in today’s complex world.

Future Earth

Future Earth is a crossroads: from circular cities to regenerative territories, where climate-responsive urban design meets bold rural innovation.
In the morning, IUAV and CMCC guide a deep dive into urban adaptation strategies, featuring climate mapping insights by Paola Mercogliano.

In the afternoon, curated by the Future Food Institute, the focus shifts to Future Lands—a dialogue on integral ecology, exploring how food security and the regeneration of marginal areas can shape resilient futures worldwide.

Climate Tech

Co-curated with Cleantech for Italy, in collaboration with VeniSIA, this afternoon brings together startups, investors, and thought leaders to explore cutting-edge climate technologies—from carbon capture and smart buildings to nature co-design and future farming.

Venice is a living paradox: fragile and ancient, a symbol of beauty under threat from climate change. And it is precisely from this suspended city that VeniSIA and Venice Climate Week aim to demonstrate how technology, when rooted in place, becomes a tool for anti-fragility.

Through the Future Farming Initiative, VeniSIA presents a visionary and replicable model that radically rethinks the relationship between nature, technology, and material production—a new paradigm to equip the planet without destroying it

Caffè la Serra

Climate Shapers in Action

From June 4 to 7, Caffè la Serra will become a vibrant hub of dialogue, creativity, and collaboration during Venice Climate Week 2026. For four days, climate shapers from around the world — researchers, innovators, policymakers, and young changemakers — will gather to exchange ideas and design solutions for a sustainable future.

The space will host talks, workshops, and informal meetings aimed at fostering cross-disciplinary connections and tangible impact. Between a coffee and a conversation, participants will shape new narratives around climate action, circular economy, and social innovation.

How Will We Get Out of This?

ublic Assembly with Ferdinando Cotugno and Fabio Deotto
From the shadows of the present, the light of the future – The role of civic awareness, associations, and grassroots activism in the ecological transition.

The closing day of the Venice Climate Week is not a destination—it is a collective act of awareness and courage. It is a call to action from a city that mirrors the world: fragile and resilient, ancient and visionary.

Here, at the epicenter of a crisis that is environmental, social, and cultural, we choose not to look away. Instead, we turn vulnerability into generative strength.

“How Will We Get Out of This?” is an open, radically democratic public assembly—an exercise in critical thinking and political imagination led by two sharp and passionate voices of contemporary journalism: Ferdinando Cotugno and Fabio Deotto. Together, we’ll explore the shifting global landscape: geopolitical instability, climate justice, migration, and the transformation of production systems.

Above all, this is a space to recognize and amplify the role of associations, grassroots movements, civic networks, and the energy of youth—those who, every day, through creativity and perseverance, keep the possibility of a different society alive.

A clear political message emerges:
The transition will only be just if it is shared.

In a time marked by eco-anxiety and polarization, Venice offers a message of active hope: environmental justice cannot be separated from social justice. The future is not something to be delegated—it must be built, together, through new intergenerational and cross-sector alliances.

Cities, local communities, and civic networks are living laboratories of social and ecological innovation. Now more than ever, change is driven by the protagonism of places, and by our ability to listen, co-create, and care for one another.

From this day, a clear call is launched: to build a permanent coalition between associations, activist networks, local administrations, scientists, artists, and regenerative enterprises.
To emerge from today’s crises, we don’t need top-down solutions—we need a cultural revolution rooted in solidarity, creativity, and regeneration.

Venice is calling the world.
Let’s turn fragility into strength.
Let’s turn our voices into a wave of change.
